Nubian Narratives: On Identity, Culture and Language

Nubian Narratives is a forthcoming collection of essays by Nubian writers at home and across the diaspora. Through personal reflection, cultural memory, and critical insight, contributors explore three central themes: identity, culture, and language—examining what it means to be Nubian in a world that has long spoken over us.

This collection centers lived experience and ancestral knowledge, creating space for complexity, continuity, and reclamation.

Call for Submissions:
We invite Nubian writers, thinkers, and storytellers to submit original essays that engage with identity, culture, or language from personal, historical, or creative perspectives. If you have a story to tell, we want to hear it—in your voice, on your terms.
